Logo. El MUSEO DEL NEOEXTRACTIVISMO es un proyecto nómade que adopta diversos formatos expositivos según el espacio, institución y contexto al cual se desplaza. El proyecto surge a partir de una investigación llevada a cabo por el colectivo Etcétera acerca del modelo neo-extractivista y sus consecuencias para el medio ambiente, la salud social y los derechos humanos. El montaje en las salas PAyS del Parque de la Memoria es un prototipo, es decir, una de las posibles salas de este museo,
e incluye instalaciones, obras site specific, fotografía, video, objetos y mapas entre otros elementos. Durante la muestra el museo también presentará algunas performances e intervenciones en los alrededores del Parque de la Memoria.
¿POR QUÉ UN MUSEO?
La cultura y las artes se contemplan como una parte fundamental en la cadena productiva de este modelo económico. Por ello, varias de las compañías –locales o multinacionales– tienen centros de visitantes o museos para narrar su historia de una manera didáctica, artística o museográfica.
El Museo del Neoextractivismo (MNE) cumple la función inversa de estos centros: narrar a través de las obras, objetos e instalaciones el otro lado de la historia: las razones y consecuencias detrás de este modelo. Es una plataforma encargada de ilustrar cómo se ha ido transformado el territorio, quiénes están detrás y quiénes están resistiéndolo.
El MNE cuenta con experimentos educativos, publicaciones y una colección de obras de artistas locales e internacionales que han venido investigando la explotación de la mega minería, la deforestación, el uso de pesticidas y agrotóxicos, entre otras actividades extractivas.
Las intervenciones del MNE invitan al público a conocer y aportar su conocimiento acerca del modelo extractivo y sus consecuencias por medio de espacios lúdicos creados para imaginar otros modelos de desarrollo basados en la defensa de los derechos humanos y la naturaleza.El museo está estructurado en cuatro ejes conceptuales: Extractivismo Histórico, Neextractivismo, Resistencias e Imaginación Social. Estos cuatro conceptos son desarrollados en las cuatro áreas que estructuran el Museo del Neoextractivismo: colección, educación, museografía y publicaciones. El MNE está diseñado como un dispositivo nómade que permite desplazarse y adaptarse a diferentes contextos, ya sean espacios propiamente expositivos (centros culturales, museos, espacios de arte) o sitios donde se encuentran comunidades afectadas, ya sean zonas mineras, rurales o agrarias.
En cada presentación el MNE exhibe parte de su colección (en permanente construcción) en diferentes formatos dependiendo del espacio elegido o designado.El museo cuenta en su colección con obras y proyectos de artistas y colectivos de distintos países. La colección incluye piezas creadas especialmente para cada presentación junto a obras en préstamo y donaciones.
El MNE produce y distribuye una serie de publicaciones pensadas y diseñadas para cada contexto.
Además, lleva adelante una serie de actividades participativas (enfocada en niños y adolescentes) a través de juegos y performances que analizan críticamente las actividades lúdicas y pedagógicas diseñadas por las propias compañías extractivas.

Acción Fundacional de la Internacional Errorista en la Cumbre de las Americas ALCA, Mar del PLata.Ante la inminente visita de George Bush a Mar del Plata para participar
de la Cumbre
de las Américas, Etcétera…, en una acción superadora, fundó La Internacional Errorista,
movimiento que revindica el error como base de sus prácticas y filosofía.
Los primeros veinte erroristas viajaron a la ciudad costera a participar
de La Cumbre
de los Pueblos. Luego de diferentes apariciones, en marchas, actos y hasta un
recital de Manu Chao, un confuso episodio en una playa que mezcló a erroristas actor-cidios
y a policías espect-actores, acabó felizmente bajo los augurios del error
errorista, nodo de la filosofía de este movimiento.

Intervención Urbana. Acción realizada el año 2002 para visibilizar la criminalizacion de la protesta y la pobreza, la detención de personas por su portación de rostro o por su trabajo informal. Esta acción inicia una serie de obras como crítica a las políticas de “seguridad”, en contra de la instalación de figuras policiales como el merodeo y la detención “para averiguación de antecedentes”. A su vez y como consecuencia de los atentados en Nueva York, se comienza a tratar en la opinión pública la posibilidad de una “ley antiterrorista”.
Grupos de activistas circulaban por en centro de la ciudad. Sorpresivamente, se auto-detienen durante algunos minutos en diferentes puntos, provocando confusión tanto en los transeúntes como en los oficiales de policía que por casualidad allí se encontraban. Se repartía un volante que se asemejaba a los registros utilizados por la policía para tomar las huellas digitales de los detenidos. La gente era invitada a entintar sus dedos y auto-detenerse bajo la frase “Tiene derecho a permanecer callado. Todo lo que diga puede (y será) usado en su contra”.

A fines de 1997 y principios de 1998, comenzaron llevarse a cabo los primeros escraches, organizados por la agrupación H.I.J.O.S (Hijos por la Identidad y la Justicia, contra el Olvido y el Silencio), una organización que nuclea a los hijos e hijas de detenidos desaparecidos, ejecutados y exiliados de la última dictadura militar.<br /><br />Los escraches nacieron como una herramienta política para contraponerse a la ineficiencia y complicidad de la justicia argentina y las leyes de impunidad votadas durante la democracia que mantienen libres a los genocidas de la dictadura (leyes de “punto final”, “obediencia debida” e indultos). El escrache busca una justicia basada en la condena social a los represores. <br /><br />Durante el origen de esta actividad algunos colectivos de arte y artistas nos acercamos y comenzamos a participar de la organización de las acciones. <br /><br />En las reuniones previas a cada escrache se planificaba cómo articular la actividad en el barrio y la participación de los activistas y colaboradores, entre ellos, los grupos de arte. <br /><br />Considerando que el señalamiento de la vivienda era una estrategia fundamental del acto, se comenzaron a buscar formas más creativas para lograr ese objetivo. En las reuniones organizativas, los integrantes del grupo de apoyo artístico aportaban estrategias para señalizar la zona y la casa del asesino, buscando llamar la atención de los transeúntes y expandir los efectos del escrache al resto de la sociedad.<br /><br />Aquellos primeros escraches en Buenso Aires fueron acompañados por varios grupos de artistas, El GAC ( Grupo de Arte Callejero), la murga Los Verdes de Montserrat cantando y bailando con bombos y platillos, el colectivo ACHA (Arte Como Herramienta de Acción) que llevaba grandes murales móviles. <br /><br /><strong>Etcétera</strong> fue uno de esos colectivos artisticos, Realizando acciones teatrales y performances frente a la casa de los genocidas escrachados. La teatralidad y sus artilugios, funcionaban como un anfiteatro para producir dos objetivos, ayudar a la catarsis del trauma de las victimas, denunciar los crimenes cometidos por el acusado, y como un señuelo para distraer la atención de los policías que protegían la vivienda y cumplir con uno de los objetivos: el señalamiento del represor.

A fines de 1997 y principios de 1998, comenzaron llevarse a cabo los primeros escraches, organizados por la agrupación H.I.J.O.S (Hijos por la Identidad y la Justicia, contra el Olvido y el Silencio), una organización que nuclea a los hijos e hijas de detenidos desaparecidos, ejecutados y exiliados de la última dictadura militar.<br /><br />Los escraches nacieron como una herramienta política para contraponerse a la ineficiencia y complicidad de la justicia argentina y las leyes de impunidad votadas durante la democracia que mantienen libres a los genocidas de la dictadura (leyes de “punto final”, “obediencia debida” e indultos). El escrache busca una justicia basada en la condena social a los represores. <br /><br />Durante el origen de esta actividad algunos colectivos de arte y artistas nos acercamos y comenzamos a participar de la organización de las acciones. <br /><br />En las reuniones previas a cada escrache se planificaba cómo articular la actividad en el barrio y la participación de los activistas y colaboradores, entre ellos, los grupos de arte. <br /><br />Considerando que el señalamiento de la vivienda era una estrategia fundamental del acto, se comenzaron a buscar formas más creativas para lograr ese objetivo. En las reuniones organizativas, los integrantes del grupo de apoyo artístico aportaban estrategias para señalizar la zona y la casa del asesino, buscando llamar la atención de los transeúntes y expandir los efectos del escrache al resto de la sociedad.<br /><br />Aquellos primeros escraches en Buenso Aires fueron acompañados por varios grupos de artistas, El GAC ( Grupo de Arte Callejero), la murga Los Verdes de Montserrat cantando y bailando con bombos y platillos, el colectivo ACHA (Arte Como Herramienta de Acción) que llevaba grandes murales móviles. <br /><br /><strong>Etcétera</strong> fue uno de esos colectivos artisticos, Realizando acciones teatrales y performances frente a la casa de los genocidas escrachados. La teatralidad y sus artilugios, funcionaban como un anfiteatro para producir dos objetivos, ayudar a la catarsis del trauma de las victimas, denunciar los crimenes cometidos por el acusado, y como un señuelo para distraer la atención de los policías que protegían la vivienda y cumplir con uno de los objetivos: el señalamiento del represor.

Esta fue una de las acciones en la serie de manifiestos, gráficas en torno al H@mbre que Etcetera realizó desde 1998 como denuncia al hambre social y al hambre cultural. Esta opereta fue realizada durante la manifestación en conmemoración al estallido social en Argentina del año 2001.
La Opera estaba dividida en 3 actos:
Acto 1: . Una larga fila a las afueras del Estomago Corporación espera conseguir trabajo.
Una vez consiguen el trabajo se convierten en esclavos, cargando el peso de las piedras vesiculares que transitan por la hiperproducción capitalista.
Acto2: Adentro del Estomago. Orejas luchadoras vigilan y escuchan a los trabajadores, con sus hisopos los reprimen y estos son entregados para ser despedidos y castigados por el Jefe, pareciera que no hay chance de organizarse.
Acto 3: H@mbre. Tras la violencia ejercida por el jefe del Estomago Corporación pequeñas células de trabajadores insurrectos comienzan a rebelarse, surge el Neolider que toma la voceria. La melodía comienza a convertirse en un Jam Session comtemporaneo que deja sordas a las orejas. Al grito de "hambre, hambre, hambre" comienza la insurrección.
Nacimiento del H@mbre: "he abieto las puertas para reconocer la luz en este mundo enfermo. Soy la materialización de este ahogo. Invito a un plato de un menú revolucionario, de la poesía mas descarnada..."
La acción contó con un reparto de actores de lujo compuesto por artistas y amigos del colectivo.

<p style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;"><span style="font-style: inherit; font-weight: inherit;">En la Galería Frank Elbaz. en Paris, curada por el colectivo <strong>Claire Fontaine</strong> se presentó la exposición titulada: <strong>“∞”</strong>. Se trata de un fragmento de la exposición antológica sobre el aniversario de 10 años del grupo, a través de<span> </span>una línea de tiempo se desplaza a través de la historia del grupo y sus acciones en diferentes contextos sociales mediante a una instalación hecha con material de archivo, objetosy videos. A esto se suma una sueva serie de “objetos erroristas” especialmente preparados para aquella ocasión en visperas de los 40 años del Mayo Francés de 1968.</span></p>

(98) Fotos Sol Arrese por Etcetera...Etcetera...." width="500" height="375" /><br /><br />En 2007, al cumplirse diez años del nacimiento del grupo, se realizó <strong>Etcétera, Etcétera</strong> una exposición antológica basada en una investigación colectiva sobre la historia y el propio archivo del grupo.</p>
<p>En la exposición antológica la instalación proponía al público introducirse en un archivo vivo, abierto y permanente construcción.</p>
<p>¿Cuál es destino de éste archivo?, ¿Cómo difundirlo?, ¿Cómo publicarlo?, ¿Cómo compartirlo?, ¿Con que relacionarlo? En base a aquellas preguntas se realizó una investigación colectiva sobre la propia historia del grupo, asumiendo la responsabilidad de resguardar, conservar y dar a conocer aquel material.</p>
<p>La exposición contaba con un formato que unificaba archivos, manifiestos y obras, junto a documentos y registros audiovisuales. Un resumen de la actividad de la primera década del colectivo que desplegaba una “máquina de guerra” para las siguientes batallas simbólicas.</p>
<p>Uno de los objetivos de la primera exposición antológica del grupo Etcétera fue aportar otros relatos a los ya existentes, narrar la propia historia del colectivo en primera persona y poner a disposición del público (y de las nuevas generaciones de artistas, teóricos y activistas) una parte del acervo grupal para el acceso público. <br /><br /><a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/etcetera-etcetera/albums/72157603777084533" title="Etcetera... <p>El montaje fue organizado a partir de un mapa, árbol genealógico o línea de tiempo donde se entrecruzaban las problemáticas sociales de cada contexto con las acciones, posiciones y conceptos desde los cuales respondimos en cada circunstancia. Una ecléctica genealogía donde una línea negra continua (contextual) se cruzaba con una línea roja fragmentada (conceptual), ambas se desplegaban por muros, pisos y techos conectando las obras, manifiestos y acciones con los procesos históricos que les dieron sentido.</p>
<p>La exposición contenía panfletos, manuscritos, objetos, fragmentos de instalaciones, documentación fotográfica y videos, siempre acompañados por epígrafes cronológicos que conformaban la narración de la exposición. La experiencia fue acompañada por la mayoría de los miembros y ex miembros del grupo y se realizaron una serie de actividades asociadas como lecturas poéticas, partidas de ajedrez, proyecciones y debates.</p>

También pretende difundir esta petición y recolectar las firmas necesarias para respaldar la solicitud de una audiencia para hacer la presentación formal ante el sumo pontífice durante 2017.</div>

<div>La obra estuvo inspirada en “Palabras Ajenas. Conversaciones de dios con algunos hombres y de algunos hombres con algunos hombres y con dios” un collage literario creado en 1967 por el artista<span> </span><strong>León Ferrari</strong><span> </span>(1920 -2013). En su texto, Ferrari construyó una serie de diálogos imaginarios entre distintos personajes conformado por collages de noticias y textos bíblicos. En el prólogo del libro, el artista describía la obra como una pieza teatral, entregando una serie de indicaciones para un posible director y una posible representación. Los textos del guión de ERRAR DE DIOS fueron desarrollados por Etcétera junto al filósofo italiano Franco Berardi “Bifo”. https://errardedios.org/</div>

<div>La instalación incluía una serie de obras originales de León Ferrari junto a una puesta en escena donde el público era el protagonista: la instalación participativa invitaba a público a tener “conversaciones con dios” y así completar la obra con sus palabras (ajenas), a través de una serie de teléfonos ubicados sobre dos tribunas enfrentadas en un escenario circular.</div>

<p><span><strong><br />AGORA.</strong><br />En un momento en que la crisis financiera en Grecia y en otros lugares está llegando a un punto álgido, la 4a Bienal de Atenas (AB4) no puede dejar de responder a esta sombría situación a través de una pregunta pertinente: ¿y ahora qué?</span></p>
<p><span>En respuesta a las condiciones sociales y económicas actuales, este año la Bienal se lanzará a explorar alternativas creativas a un estado de bancarrota al poner en marcha un proceso de colaboración para producir una exhibición.</span></p>

Se realizará en un edificio emblemático, la antigua Bolsa de Valores de Atenas, por un grupo sin nombre y efímero de artistas, curadores, teóricos y profesionales del mundo creativo. industrias. AGORA es, por lo tanto, un experimento colectivo, el resultado de un proceso de fermentación entre profesionales de diferentes orígenes. Lo que más les importa a quienes participan en tal experimento es un sentido compartido de responsabilidad y un impulso de coproducir significado.</span></p>
<p><span>Utilizando el edificio vacío de la antigua Bolsa de Atenas como su sede principal, AB4 propone AGORA no solo como un lugar de intercambio e interacción, sino también como un escenario ideal para la crítica y una reorientación radical en el pensamiento. <p><span>AGORA se formula a través de una sucesión de objetos, eventos de colaboración, actuaciones, mesas redondas, proyecciones de películas, talleres y programas educativos. En AGORA, las obras y las tesis evocan lo que se necesita con urgencia en este momento en particular: un descubrimiento de actitudes oportunas, una reevaluación de estrategias artísticas y de por vida, una deconstrucción de mitos dominantes para descubrir nuevos enfoques y actitudes funcionales.</span></p>

<p><strong>dOCUMENTA (13)</strong> fue la decimotercera edición de la exposición quinquenal de arte contemporáneo ralizada en <strong>Kassel, Alemania</strong> en <strong>2012</strong>. La exposición, bajo el tema “colapso y recuperación” fue curada por <strong>Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev</strong> junto a un grupo de “agentes”. <strong>Etcéter</strong>a fue invitado a participar dentro de la plataforma "<strong>AND, AND, AND”</strong> un proyecto colaborativo coordinado por los artistas-agentes<strong> Rene Gabri </strong>y <strong>Ayreen Anastas</strong>.</p>
<p>AND AND AND es una iniciativa dirigida por artistas, que utilizó el tiempo/espacio de dOCUMENTA (13) para considerar -junto con individuos y grupos en todo el mundo- el papel que el arte y la cultura pueden jugar hoy y la constitución de públicos o comunidades que podrían abordarse. <p><strong>CRISIS Y REPRESENTACIÓN</strong><span> fue el </span>primer “momento” y el lanzamiento de<span> </span><strong>ESPEJOS</strong>, un proyecto contextual en el tiempo, basado en la investigación colectiva de colaboración extra disciplinaria<br /><br />El experimento<span> </span><strong>CRISIS Y REPRESENTACIÓN</strong>, pone en juego un<span> </span><em>ready-made social</em><span> </span>y un<span> </span><em>desplazamiento de contextos</em><span> </span>que acontece alrededor de los jardines y edificios que rodean el espacio público del Parque Centenario, el mítico lugar donde hace diez años durante la crisis fue fundada la mayor asamblea de todos los barrios (Asamblea Interbarrial). Hoy, el jardín está lleno de rejas y en el mismo sitio que era ocupado por las asambleas, en la actualidad se asienta una feria popular, mezcla de mercadillo de pulgas y espacio de la cultura<span> </span><em>underground,</em><span> </span>donde la gente se reúne a comer, beber, escuchar música, vender y comprar todo tipo de cosas, en fiestas semanales de precario consumismo, continuando intensamente como espacio simbólico de representación que refleja destellos de<span> </span><em>crisis y recuperación</em>.</p>
<p><strong>ESPEJISMOS.</strong></p>
<p><strong></strong>Argentina 2001 fue un laboratorio para el capitalismo neoliberal, uno de los primeros ejemplos de la barbarie que se ha producido por las medidas de ajuste, recortes del gasto público y privatizaciones. La sumisión a las decisiones de los organismos internacionales de crédito y la presión de los mercados, con la complicidad de los agentes locales, sumió al país en una oscura madriguera. El “caso argentino” funcionó como un experimento que ejemplifica “lo que no se debe hacer” y su pueblo aún continua sufriendo las consecuencias de aquellas políticas. Sorprendentemente, en 2011, después de una década y muchos cambios políticos, el país vuelve a introducirse en el mundo como “un ejemplo para salir de la crisis”.</p>
<p>Como los reflejos distorsionados que produce un espejo fragmentado, el escenario actual parece exactamente la inversión de aquel otro contexto. Como una gran paradoja de este efecto de espejo, todas las medidas económicas que se aplican en este momento en gran parte del mundo occidental, son exactamente las mismas medidas que Argentina tomó previamente al colapso económico social.</p>
<p>Tomando “espejo” como clave conceptual, todo el proyecto está organizado y desarrollado metafóricamente en base a los fenómenos ópticos de la física: la refracción, la reflexión, las interferencias, y la composición de imágenes, como analogías de procesos sociales de construcción de identidad y memoria colectiva.</p>
<p>El menú incluye, entre otras cosas: la puesta en marcha del proyecto en una experiencia médium con la historia reciente invocando a los espíritus rebeldes de la asamblea, hoy convertida en mercado. Continuando con un picnic antropófago, buscando interpretaciones comunes acerca de las transformaciones en los discursos y narrativas, entre dinosaurios y meteoritos vagando alrededor de las galerías del Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales. Para volver de nuevo en los jardines del parque, en una canchita improvisando un partido de fútbol-debate: juego físico-intelectual de deporte militante, donde “todo el mundo juega en el mismo equipo”. Con la puesta del sol, el errar concluye con una actuación estelar en el telescopio del Observatorio Astronómico, para disfrutar de las dos caras de la Luna (y Júpiter) mirando hacia las nuevas constelaciones que crecen a partir de las más antiguas cosmogonías de las r-evoluciones marxianas.</p>

<p>Bajo el título <strong>BIENNALE CUVÉE</strong>, el <strong>OK Center</strong> (Linz, Austria) exhibe una selección de proyectos artísticos de nueve de las bienales internacionales más importantes en 2009.<strong> Etcetera</strong> fue invitado a presentar <strong>Errorist Kabaret,</strong> la instalción participativa realizada para la 11a Bienal de Estambul.<br /><br /><strong>BIENNALE CUVÉE.</strong></p>
<p>Las bienales son el formato más importante para las exposiciones de arte contemporáneo. Son puntos de referencia y marcan tendencia para el arte contemporáneo, están más interesados en experimentar y están menos orientados al mercado que las ferias de arte. Son el sitio de declaraciones curatoriales de alto perfil y ofrecen numerosos descubrimientos de artistas internacionalmente desconocidos.</p>
<p>El objetivo de la exposición <strong>BIENNALE CUVÉE </strong>no es una visión general de la creación artística actual que es adicta a la representación, que no sería posible cuantitativamente en ningún caso en la abundancia de la oferta y que tampoco puede buscarse en términos de calidad, porque esto daría la impresión equivocada de "homogeneidad". Por lo tanto, no buscaban "grandes nombres", sino que se buscaban las ubicaciones secundarias y los rincones remotos en lugares concurridos como Venecia. Otras bienales, equipadas con la exótica bonificación desde una perspectiva eurocéntrica, ofrecen más espacio para "descubrimientos". 33 artistas fueron invitados a Linz, Austria. Los artistas seleccionados pueden existir como posiciones individuales sobresalientes, pero también pueden dividirse en grupos temáticos, que pueden considerarse bastante representativos de las estrategias del arte contemporáneo:</p>
<ul>
<li>Las cuestiones políticas y sociales siguen siendo una preocupación importante para los artistas.</li>
<li>La broma y la ironía son importantes dispositivos estilísticos del arte contemporáneo.</li>
<li>Los enfoques performativos y de puesta en escena juegan un papel importante en las obras.</li>
<li>El "material" y el archivo en sí mismo no solo tiene asignada una función de referencia, sino que son las propias obras.</li>

<p><strong><br />¿Qué mantiene viva a la humanidad?</strong></p>
<p>La 11ª Bienal Internacional de Estambul toma su título de la canción 'Denn wovon lebt der Mensch?', Traducida al inglés como 'What Keeps Mankind Alive?'. La canción cierra el segundo acto de la obra The Threepenny Opera, escrito en 1928 por Bertolt Brecht, en colaboración con Elisabeth Hauptmann y Kurt Weill. Basado en la afirmación de Brecht de que "un criminal es un burgués y un burgués es un criminal", la obra se propuso revolucionar el teatro como una forma artística y una herramienta para el cambio social y político. 'What Keeps Mankind Alive' servirá como guión para la exposición, incluso un vistazo rápido a la letra descubre muchos temas posibles, como la distribución de la riqueza y la pobreza, la comida y el hambre, las manipulaciones políticas, la opresión de género, las normas sociales, doble moralidad, hipocresía religiosa, responsabilidad personal y consentimiento a la opresión, cuestiones ciertamente 'relevantes', casi predecibles.</p>
<p>Ciertamente parece que, visto desde la perspectiva contemporánea dominante, el marxismo de Brecht y su creencia en el potencial utópico y el compromiso político abierto del arte parecen un poco anticuados, históricamente irrelevantes, en disonancia con esta época del desmoronamiento de la izquierda institucional y l surgimiento de la hegemonía neoliberal. Pero la verdadera pregunta es, ¿no es en realidad sintomático? No es la forma en que Brecht está ahora 'olvidado' y 'pasado de moda', después de su inmensa popularidad en los años sesenta y setenta y una transformación suave en 'un clásico', precisamente el indicador de que algo ha salido mal con la sociedad contemporánea, y con el papel del arte en su interior?</p>
<p>Las similitudes entre la influencia de los rápidos desarrollos de la economía liberal en la desintegración del consenso social hasta ahora existente en 1928 y en los tiempos contemporáneos son sorprendentes. Una vez más, vivimos atormentados por el miedo a abordar cambios globales, cuyas consecuencias podrían tener efectos desastrosos duraderos, no muy diferentes de los que transformaron el mundo después del colapso económico de 1929, y las preguntas actuales sobre el papel del arte en la instigación de cambios sociales son igualmente apremiantes. Como lo fueron en la década de 1930, cuando la izquierda se enfrentó al fascismo y al estalinismo. ¿O realmente consideramos que se resuelven dentro de un sistema global de industria cultural y sus malformaciones contemporáneas, confinadas en géneros artísticos, predecibles como tendencias culturales y rentables para fines de marketing?</p>
<p>Como escritor y director, Brecht buscó continuamente abrirse y exhibirse, luego deconstruir y transformar el 'aparato de producción' del teatro; es este enfoque el que nos debe sacar del actual punto muerto del 'aparato de arte contemporáneo'. No se trata de la solución deus ex machina o del método olvidado que podemos traducir directamente, sino de cierto acertijo que podría estimularnos a formular adecuadamente los problemas del presente y revivir la función de placer y el papel entretenido y didáctico del arte. En este momento, la cuestión de la "usabilidad" de Brecht significa ante todo una necesidad reiterada de observar la interacción del arte y las relaciones sociales.</p>

<p>Para la sexta <strong>Bienal de Taipei</strong> (2008), organizada por el Museo de Bellas Artes de Taipei (Taiwán) curada por <strong>Manray Hsu</strong> y <strong>Vasif Kortun</strong> el <strong>colectivo Etcétera</strong> contó con una doble representación: <strong>la mega-instalación “Todos somos Erroristas”</strong> - la primera representación del <em>movimiento errorista </em>en Asia -en la sección central de la Bienal, y la instalación con registros <strong>A COMER y EL MIERDAZO</strong> -dos de las más famosas acciones del <strong>grupo Etcétera</strong>- en la sección titulada “Un Mundo en donde caben muchos Mundos” curada por el artista Oliver Ressler.</p>

<p><br /><br />Los cofundadores del colectivo de arte Etcétera presentan el cuarto capítulo de<strong> su proyecto de investigación Espejos</strong>, la exhibición colectiva internacional que, en esta ocasión, usa la explotación del salitre en Chile durante el siglo pasado como metáfora para hablar de los procesos contemporáneos de extracción y apropiación de los recursos naturales (neo-extractivismo).</p>
<p>Espejos, es un proyecto surgido en 2010 -que sus creadores definen como contextual- y transdisciplinar, ya que cada una de sus etapas se desarrolla de acuerdo al entorno en el que es llevado a cabo. El cuarto capítulo de este proyecto se desarrolló en el <strong>Museo de Arte Contemporaneo</strong> <strong>MAC</strong> de Quinta Normal a partir del 28 de noviembre de 2014 y se denominó <strong>Los Trabajadores de la Luna</strong>, título que se refiere a los exilios y las olas migratorias que se produjeron en el norte de Chile a fines del siglo XIX y comienzos del siglo XX.</p>
<p><em>"Tomamos como referencia inspiradora la conformación de las primeras organizaciones que llevaban adelante las reivindicaciones de la clase trabajadora (…) en medio de una incipiente industria minera, junto a la novedosa explotación y refinamiento del salitre utilizado para la agricultura y el desarrollo de armas. <p><strong>Los Trabajadores de la Luna</strong> también tuvo otros dos procesos, <strong>la investigación y un programa educativo</strong>, realizado en<strong> Colonia, Alemania</strong>, en conjunto con la <strong>Akademie der Künste der Welt</strong> (Academia de Artes del Mundo).</p>

<p>El sábado 19 de marzo de 2016 se inauguró <strong>VICEVERSA</strong> el último proyecto expositivo seleccionado en el concurso del <strong>Espacio Contemporáneo</strong> de <strong>Fundación Proa</strong>.</p>
<p>Viceversa, es el proyecto curado por el grupo Etcétera que incorpora el entorno cultural del Barrio de la Boca y a Proa en un trabajo vinculante con los vecinos artistas. Como escribieron los curadores: <em>“Viceversa indaga los aportes que los artistas pueden generar en los programas expositivos de las instituciones artísticas, su mediación para establecer vínculos con los distintos tipos de audiencias e influir en los criterios que propio público utiliza para emitir juicios sobre las obras y proyectos involucrados. "Viceversa significa al contrario o al revés. En una relación de dos elementos, indica que se pueden invertir los términos de la oposición. El proyecto VICEVERSA se basa en el rol de los artistas como mediadores entre público e institución. Esta curaduría (también coordinada por artistas) es un desplazamiento de roles: un diálogo entre artistas -institución- audiencia (y viceversa). El resultado final, la exposición, es el producto de un acompañamiento y trabajo conjunto (entre curadores, artistas e institución) tomando al público como protagonista"</em></p>

Una exposición de instalaciones que reúne a más de 45 artistas de Argentina, Rusia, Chile, Brasil, Alemania, Holanda, Francia y Austria, quienes reflexionan mediante sus obras acerca de los acontecimientos de la crisis y el regreso a la normalidad, tomando el caso de la crisis de 2001 en la Argentina como ejemplo. <br /><br />“<strong>Ex Argentina</strong>” es un proyecto que se inició en el 2002 en Colonia, Alemania, con la participación de artistas de distintos géneros (plásticos, dramaturgos, poetas) y la colaboración de científicos e intelectuales. Su objetivo era informar de la crisis argentina de la manera más precisa posible, sobre sus consecuencias, sobre las relaciones de poder entre oligarquías locales e internacionales y, finalmente, sobre la línea imprecisa, invisible y, para muchos abstracta, que va desde una medida económica que se toma en alguna parte del mundo hasta la miseria concreta que produce. “La normalidad” es la tercera parte de este proyecto, que esta vez se realiza en Argentina. Se caracterizará por ser un espacio de dialogo, el cual se distribuirá por distintos escenarios de la ciudad de Buenos Aires como la Imprenta Chilavert, el Hotel Bauen, la radio FM La Tribu y La Kasa de H.I.J.O.S. (Regional Capital). En estos se realizaran encuentros, debates e intercambios que quedaron abiertos para ser profundizados durante la “Semana de Programación libre” que se llevó a cabo desde el 28 de febrero al 5 de marzo de 2006 en el Palais de Glace. <br /><br />Parte de la producción se destaca por contener distintas formas de activismo artístico a modo de crítica hacia el sistema político. El tema es abordado de tantos puntos de vista como de personas que la realizan, como así también, los tiempos históricos, los elementos y personajes.<br /><br />La muestra <strong>La Normalidad</strong> es la etapa final de <strong>Ex Argentina (2002-2006)</strong> un proyecto realizado por el <strong>Goethe-Institut Buenos Aires</strong> con el apoyo del <strong>Kulturstiftung des Bundes</strong> (Fondo Federal de las Artes, Berlín).

<p><br />A comienzos de año de <strong>2009</strong> los artistas del <strong>Grupo Etcétera</strong>, <strong>Loreto Garín Guzmán</strong> y <strong>Federico Zukerfeld</strong> fueron invitados por la artista <strong>Laura Spivak</strong> -programadora de los Espacios de Arte del <strong>CCEBA</strong> - a realizar una exposición en las salas del <strong>Centro Cultural de España en Buenos Aires</strong>. En lugar de mostrar sus propias obras, los miembros de Etcétera propusieron curar una exposición colectiva que reúna imágenes y obras de otros artistas con quienes encuentran vínculos de reciprocidad afectiva, artística y política. El resultado de esa propuesta es “<strong>Reciprocidad</strong>”: un experimento colectivo donde se entrecruzan los trabajos de artistas y colectivos de Argentina y de países como Francia, España, Austria y Australia. La mirada que establecen estos artistas sobre las problemáticas y luchas sociales o las elecciones estéticas de cada uno permiten realizar un recorrido heterogéneo por las obras y trazar un mapa imaginario de los intercambios simbólicos informales que se producen en el campo del arte.</p>
<p><em>“La exposición Reciprocidad es un experimento</em> -dicen los curadores/coordinadores del proyecto-<em> es como una pipeta cargada de una sustancia de la cual aún no sabemos que podrá producir. En este tubo de ensayo, espacios y tiempos se contaminan entre si y son parte de una misma densidad: aquella que surge de repartir y compartir, y nos permite jugar con las visibilidades y oscuridades que produce la aprensión de este contexto”</em>.</p>
<p>Los artistas y coordinadores de la exposición recuerdan que <em>“para la antropología cultural el término reciprocidad se refiere a una manera de intercambio de bienes y trabajo, que se da en sistemas económicos informales. Es la forma más común de intercambio en sociedades con economías que prescinden del mercado, esto es, que no venden o compran bienes o servicios”</em>. Trasladando este concepto al campo del arte, señalan que allí <em>“el trato recíproco se hace indispensable, como una manera posible de romper el manto de aislamiento e individualismo que domina la escena de sus instituciones. Como búsqueda de posibles nuevos modelos de representación y distribución, que pongan en jaque la insaciable maquinaria de la industria cultural y trasformen los vínculos subjetivos entre los artistas, público y demás involucrados”</em>.</p>

<p>CENTRO CULTURAL DE LA MEMORIA HAROLDO CONTI, Buenos Aires, Argentina. <br /><br />Espejos es la metáfora que permite asumirnos como refractores-proyectores de imágenes. Nos servimos de la fenomenología de la física óptica y sus manifestaciones, refracción, reflexión, interferencia y formación de imágenes,como analogías de los procesos sociales de construcción de identidad y memoria. La investigación propone una hipótesis sobre el propio contexto en tensión de la ex-ESMA mediante una narración compuesta por archivos, objetos e instalaciones que intervienen como hipertextos y citas en la puesta en escena de la exposición. La exposición El Camino Incierto al País de las Maravillas, ha sido concebida para reactivar el espacio en su función simbólico-testimonial, reflexionando sobre su histórica conflictividad: primero como Escuela Militar, luego como Centro Clandestino de Detención y, tras su recuperación a partir de 2004, transformada en Espacio para la Memoria, la Justicia y los Derechos Humanos, como reflejo invertido de su antigua función represiva. Esta muestra es una invitación colectiva para adentrarnos en un territorio de reflexión lúdica, desacralizando el espacio expositivo en una dinámica que retome el pensamiento crítico como motor discursivo y la narración como ejercicio de enunciación. Esta acción política, el narrar, es la columna vertebral del proyecto, y a la vez, un catalizador para intentar verificar hasta qué punto la memoria que se construye –se ilustra e instruye– perdura en el tiempo y sus posibles implicancias en el devenir.<br /><br /></p>

Etcetera (1997, Buenos Aires) is a provocative, public-art collective that responds to and creates awareness of political and social problems. Bold, direct and transgressive, their accessible, playful yet serious interventions are characterised by theatrical display, parody, absurdity, confusion and surprise. Generating active participation, they blur the boundaries between art and life.
Co-founded by Loreto Garín Guzmán (1977, Valparaíso) and Federico Zukerfeld (1979, Buenos Aires) together with other artists and activists, Etcetera takes art to the streets at specific sites and political events and also presents problematic social and political issues in official art institutions.
Etcetera staged stunning theatrical pieces, such as masked people playing out torture scenes with huge dummies, to protest against the impunity of Argentina’s military dictatorship in the 1990s and the 2001 crisis. In 2005 they founded the International Errorist Movement – with the manifesto declaration ‘We are all errorists’ – to protest George W. Bush attending the Summit of the Americas.
Actions included the landing of an errorist army carrying toy guns, triggering a major police deployment, and the invasion of Buenos Aires streets by masked errorists driving commando trucks and armed with cardboard machine guns emitting the word ‘Bang’, satirically reproducing the constructed enemy in the war on terror and denouncing its absurdity. Their intervention on religion’s relation to global financial crises, Errar de Dios (Erring from God), is a theatrical installation featuring characters like Angela Merkel, God, Monsanto, St Paul and Goldman Sachs among others, and includes a ‘Petition to Pope Francis for the final abolition of hell’. Etcetera is awarded for developing participatory art practices and public interventions in Argentina and internationally; for their creative originality; for their refusal to allow the normalisation of injustice; for insisting on relating history to the present moment and the local to international struggles; and for their profound, responsible social engagement and mobilisation of communities in Argentina and beyond.
